Terms of Service

Last updated: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cuadrilla ("the Service", "we"), a web application for quoting, invoicing, scheduling, and communication for service businesses. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Cuadrilla is

Cuadrilla is a software tool that lets service businesses (cleaning, contracting, landscaping, painting, and similar trades) create estimates and invoices, keep a job schedule, and communicate with their clients over WhatsApp and other channels. Cuadrilla does NOT process the payments your clients make to you — the "payment instructions" you set are informational text only (Zelle, Venmo, check, cash, etc.). The only charge we process is your subscription to the Service, through our payment provider Paddle.

2. Account and eligibility

To use Cuadrilla you need to create an account with a valid email. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to operate a business in the United States.

3. Free trial and subscription

We offer a 7-day free trial, no credit card required. To keep using the Service after those 7 days, you can add a card to get 7 additional trial days — you won't be charged anything until that second period ends, and you can cancel anytime before that date at no cost. If you don't cancel, the paid plan you chose (Basic or Pro) activates at the end of the trial and is charged through Paddle. Plans are billed monthly and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Plan & billing; canceling an already-active plan takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

4. Your responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the estimates, invoices, amounts, taxes (including any sales tax you're required to collect under your state's rules), and other information you enter into Cuadrilla, and for complying with laws applicable to your business. Cuadrilla is an administrative tool — it does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Cuadrilla for illegal activity, to send spam or unsolicited communications over WhatsApp/email that violate those providers' policies, or to attempt unauthorized access to other businesses' accounts.

6. Your clients' data

By entering your clients' data (name, phone, email, address) into Cuadrilla, you represent that you have the right to process that data for the purposes of your business relationship with them (quoting, invoicing, scheduling jobs). You are responsible to your clients for how you use that data.

7. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or feature changes without prior notice.

8. Limitation of liability

Cuadrilla is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or data loss arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you won't exceed the amount you've paid for the Service in the past 3 months.

9. Cancellation and termination

You can stop using Cuadrilla and cancel your subscription whenever you want. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the case.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
